You can’t perform a listening test on a computer model! Warkwyn has a well-equipped in-house facility to create transducer, baffle and enclosure prototypes—quickly and cost-effectively. Our equipment includes band saws, table saws, circular saws, lathes, hydraulic presses, drill presses, painting, vacuum coating and welding equipment. We can create prototypes in a variety of materials including metal, plastic, wood, MDF and others. The degree of finish varies from “white-wood” proof-of-concept prototype speakers through drivers with welded steel baskets to fully finished show samples. When appropriate we outsource fabrication to trusted local machine shops and 3D SLA fabricators.
