The Klippel Laser Scanning Vibrometer (SCN) software is equipped with an interface to export measured geometry directly to 3D CAD. This tool permits verification of complex curved surfaces in tooled parts that cannot be measured in other ways (soft parts for instance) and allows the CAD to model arbitrary 3D geometry taken from any part. There is a corresponding import tool that can take the CAD or simulator output into the SCN software for acoustical analysis.

SolidWorks includes modules for basic simulation, electrical circuit interface, GDT, fit evaluation and much more. 2D drawings are linked directly to the 3D CAD, which simplifies the generation of QC documentation.
