The Klippel PWT software module is for long-term power tests. PWT can be used to determine the durability, changes in temperature, suspension aging and fatigue, maximal amplitude limits and more.

The test stimulus can be generated internally or user programmed (music or other signal sources).

PWT continuously monitors and records voice coil temperature, voltage, current and real input power as well as Thiele-Small and nonlinear parameters (BL(x), CMS(x) & etc.). All data can be analyzed in a temporal fashion to see how the device under test (DUT) changes over time.

PWT can be used with either a KA3 analyzer or the dedicated power test hardware PM8. Up to eight transducers can be run simultaneously with the PM8, up to two with the KA3.

A separate power amplifier channel is required for each DUT unless the amplifier can handle powering multiple DUTs in parallel.
